1 week old!

Little Miss Addi turned one week old yesterday! We took this picture at 1:18 p.m.:

We are just having so much fun with this little peanut! There are not words to express how much we love her and how grateful we are for everyone's prayers and sweet comments this past week. She is so precious and such a gift. This past week has gone by soo fast...I don't want her to get bigger! But I know she will and am excited for everything to come too. Nursing was touch and go there for a few days, but we've both gotten the hang of things and its all good now. I just know this is what I'm meant to be, a mother...I feel like a part of me is more complete as I care for this sweet baby. Anyone that knew me well when I was young knows how I always wanted to hold the babies at church, etc. I've always just loved babies and now I finally have one of my own to take care of! Of course I already have Alexis, but that situation is obviously not the same. Little Addi has brought a new measure of joy and hope to our lives!

Here are some of the latest pictures:

First sponge bath at home

Sunday outfit, of course we didn't go to church but I thought it would be a good time to wear this little dress I fell in love with at the store and HAD to buy her. :) I just love all this pink and dressing up and of course she has to have a headband and flower!

This little girl already has her Daddy wrapped around her little finger! Its such a joy for me to watch. I just love it!

We loved having my mom here for a week...I wish we lived closer to family, thats the hardest part about living here. But we are grateful for the times we do get to see them.

Then Zach's mom and sister came to meet Addi! So much fun!

Chillin' with Grammy...
We were so glad they could make it up to meet the newest addition to the family!

We wish we lived closer to everyone so we could show her off to all of you! Please know how grateful again we are for your continued prayers and thoughts in our behalf.

She didn't cry at all during the bath...she was REALLY mellow her first day of life

Lotion time!

She is really strong and has a great grip and is so alert sometimes!

One of our nurses Kim, she helped me the very first time I went in for an NST and was able to be my labor nurse too...she has become a good friend and it was so fun to have her there for Addi's entrance!

Just too darn cute!

Hello!

Can you believe I'm actually writing on here?! I know you all missed us. :) Life has been insane the past couple months to say the least. We have been homeless for a while waiting for an apartment to open up but have now semi settled into our apartment here and we really love it. Its hard to be so far from any family but we are very grateful to have made some fast friends already. I still don't have any pictures of Lewiston really...but I do have a few of what we've been up to the past little while...

Putting the last of the things in the truck...man did we pack that thing and all of our stuff still didn't fit! :( So we had to leave a few things behind like our kitchen table, coffee table, baby's changing table and her glider. I'm saddest about the glider. We had so many people come and help us the night before and are SO GRATEFUL to them all!! And such a special thank you to Zach's dad for driving with us!

On our way out we stopped one last time (for a while anyway) at our precious Lexi's grave. That was hard...but I know she is being well taken care of and her spirit can be with us wherever we are.

Zach so happy to be driving for 10 hours!! :)

A week or two after we got to Lewiston we decided to make a trip up to Seattle area to visit my sister and her family for General Conference/Easter weekend. Zach stayed for the weekend but I stayed for the whole week. It was lots of fun...
Going to the park...

Playing Legos...

and Canny's version of peek-a-boo!

Of course the Easter Bunny came!

The kids really scored

and Canny didn't waste any time breaking into the first egg he could find!

We had a really yummy Easter dinner.

Later in the week we took a trip to see the Seattle Temple since I'd never seen it.

The flowers were really pretty too. I took the bus back at the end of the week, which was an adventure in and of itself! Thanks to my sister for a fun week!

The biggest event lately was Zach's BIRTHDAY!! The big 2-9!! Our friends were so gracious to let us use their kitchen and home for his birthday celebration since we had not yet gotten into our own place. We had steak and potatoes and yummy cake!

The Birthday Boy!

Making a wish...

And last week we had a scrumptious dinner for Mothers Day (made by my Chef Zach)!
(you can get a little glimpse of our apartment in the background there)

Speaking of mothers...and babies....we are really really really close to having this little one!! I definitely do NOT recommend moving when you are pregnant if you can help it. Its been very hard on my body. And switching doctors at the end has been really hard. But we are grateful that everything seems to be going well with the baby. I go to the hospital about twice a week for non stress tests and will start going to the doctor once a week now. I'm feeling VERY HUGE, she is definitely growing in there...today she really moved around and literally rocked the couch, Zach felt it, like a little earthquake. :) They did an ultrasound last week and she is measuring right on track! We even got a cute little profile pic...

So, if everything goes according to plan I will be induced the weekend of the 28th!! Less than 2 weeks away!! I can't wait! After everything we've been through its so surreal to be this close to having another baby, we would really appreciate your continued prayers that all will go smoothly and this little one will get here safely soon.

So thats where we are at, how was that post for picture overload?! Maybe my next post will be announcing the arrival of our baby girl!!! :)
