Yummy food!

When Addi was about 4 months we tried to give her some rice cereal but it seemed to upset her tummy and she wasn't sitting up in the bumbo that great yet so I decided to wait until 5 months.

Well she turned 5 months over a week ago and I'd forgotten! :) So the other day we tried some peas and rice cereal. She seemed to do much better this time. See for yourself...

She does like to spit it out a lot but I figure it just takes time to learn. Isn't her smile so dang cute?! She is growing up so fast!

Getting so big!

Oh my Addi is already 5 MONTHS!! And I never posted about her 4 months. I've had her stats right here by the computer for a while to do a post and now she is five months old. So this will be combo of the two again. Here are her 4 months stats:

weight: 12 lbs. 4 oz. 20th percentile
height: 24 1/4 inches 51st percentile

So she is still pretty little for her age but average in her height. Now I'm sure she weighs more and is getting longer! Her clothes normally fit around her still but start to pull at the neck and are too small in the length.

Look how big she has gotten since she was born!

The last month or so she has really changed! Her personality is really starting to come out. Here are some tidbits about our little Miss Addi...

- She has the biggest cutest smile!! She'll be eating and all of a sudden look up at me and get the BIGGEST grin on her face. Its adorable.
- Addi loves music, especially "If You're Happy and You Know It" and "Popcorn Popping"
- She is starting to laugh...its still more of a grunt but she does laugh sometimes
- She talks and makes noises all the time, squeals, etc.
- She is a lot more interactive with toys, holding them and putting them to her mouth
- Addi is sitting up good in her Bumbo, holds her head up great on her own
- She has now rolled over from her back to her tummy...however, it was when she was swaddled! Last night we went in to check on her and she was on her stomach, so we rolled her back over to her back and she rolled back to her tummy! She still can't quite get over her shoulder when she isn't swaddled though.
- This girl is a MOVER! She is so fidgety and wiggly when she is asleep...its kind of funny to watch.
- She is sleeping through the night from about 8 or 9 pm to about 6:30 or 7. Her naps are getting better...normally about 3 a day for at least an hour...sometimes 2 hours!

She is just the light of our lives! We love her to pieces and though we are sad she isn't are tiny newborn anymore we are so grateful she is healthy and strong and we love seeing her grow and learn new things!
