I kept meaning to post last week about Addi's 2nd week and now here it is 3 weeks and I never made it! So here is what we've been up to the last TWO weeks...
Its true what they say, that newborn babies mostly...

Eat.
(Addi had her first bottle with breastmilk at about 2 weeks old...she did great and has still been nursing great! Now Zach can get up with her and feed her once and while which he has already done and we can take a bottle to church, on trips, etc. Yay!)

Sleep.
(Notice in both these pictures she is sleeping with her mouth wide open...yeah she gets that from her mom who gets it from her mom! Its a family thing.)

Aaaaaand poop! Lets take a closer look at the above picture...

Yup...thats projectile poop people...you've heard of projectile vomit? Well, Miss Addi has introduced us to projectile poop! Yummy looking isn't it?! :) Notice the arrows in the picture, they show where Addi strategically shot the door as well as the floor, all along her changing table and anything else that got in the way! lol I was changing her diaper and before I could get a clean one on she literally shot out poop. It was pretty gross. Sweet Zach cleaned it all up while I fed the little dear. Good thing she is so dang cute! :)

I LOVE this picture, she does this adorable thing when she is waking up where she lifts her chin, arches her back and stretches her arms with her eyebrows lifted. Its the cutest thing you ever saw!
Other than eat, sleep and poop Addi has also...

Had her first real bath since her umbilical cord fell off...it happened about a week after she was born...I was surprised it was so fast! She loves the bath, she doesn't cry or anything but it takes both of us because she is so slippery in that little tub. One of us has to hold her and one wash.

And of course dressing up and looking cute!
She is still so tiny she doesn't fit into much, I didn't have a lot of newborn size outfits because everyone told me they grow out of them so quick...well thats if you have an 8 or 9 lb. baby...a 6 lb. baby stays in them for a while more! :) So I've been making her a few cute little dresses like the one above using her newborn onesies that fit her really well. They are super easy to make, basically just sewing fabric to the top of a onesie...if they weren't easy I wouldn't be able to get them done since my craft time has been extremely cut back, for good reason of course. :)
I did find time to whip together this cute set for a baby shower gift...
(I'm thinking of making some of these things to sell on Etsy or something...do you think people would buy them? I really need some help with the marketing end of it to get people interested...any tips/advice?!)

We (ok, maybe just me) like to do photo shoots...but you can see sometimes she isn't in the mood...

("Not now Mommy!" I'm in trouble if she is already hiding from the camera! :) )

After eating she was much more willing to cooperate.

Above is another outfit I made complete with hair bow and shoes! Isn't she beautiful?! I made this little dress for her first Sunday at church. We took her to all three hours today and I have to say it was a little stressful...she just had a hard time settling down and wanted to eat a lot and I didn't have any milk pumped so no trusty bottle. Needless to say we spent Sacrament Meeting and most of Relief Society in the mothers lounge. *sigh* Oh well...hopefully next week we can have it a little more together and timed better.
And last but certainly not least was TODAY...
Fathers Day!! Zach is the
BEST father! He is so very cute with Addi, he calls her princess and is always jumping up to take care of her. I just love it. Today we made one of Zach's favorite breakfasts, chocolate chip pancakes, went to church where all the men got PIE afterward (lucky!), and had a yummy steak dinner.

Zach smiling before we dug in...poor guy had to share his Fathers Day dinner with my sewing machine and crafts (life of living in an apartment with no sewing room!).
Happy Fathers Day to the perfect father and husband!

And Happy Fathers Day to both my father and father in law...we love you both!
