At one point while one family was getting ready, Uncle Leon was being master of ceremonies and was telling jokes to stall. Upon running out of jokes, he opened it up for the audience to tell jokes.
Amy heard a joke at Primary Children's Hospital when she was volunteering there with the young children. It has been a favorite of her's ever since. She shared her joke with the family.
"Why does the ocean roar?"
"You'd roar too if you had crabs on your bottom."
In retrospect, it appears many could have taken this joke out of proper context. I am going to, therefore, put it into context. To assist me, I have created a beautiful drawing with the advanced technology of Microsoft Paint.
The joke is meant to say that there are crabs on the ocean floor, as in the decapod crustacean of the suborder Brachyura. As you will see in the figure, the crab sits patiently on the ocean's bottom. In comparison, if "you" (on the right with the horrible fashion sense)were to have the same decapod on your bottom, you would roar... and rightfully so.
Some may have mistakenly associated the crab on "your" bottom as a crab louse. Obviously this is not what was intended.
Thank you for your time and attention in clearing up this matter.
